Life's Good!!!

Never shy away from who you are,
Be what you want to be.

People will always find flaws,
Overlook them and step forward.

There are many people much more capable than us,
But that does not make us any less capable.

We can always aim for the stars,
If not anything, at least we will touch the skies.

Rejection and acceptance is a part of life,
Moving on will keep us going.

We are the ones, who have to make our paths,
Right or wrong, this we got to decide.

See a glass half full instead of half empty,
Feel content with what you have.

Strive for what you want,
But don’t lose touch of reality.

Worrying about what you don’t have,
Just might make everything feel so sour.

Being positive, is all that it takes,
If we fail, we can always cry out loud.

Everyone has their shares of;
Happiness and grief,
That’s how all the things are meant to be.

When you'll feel the pressure,
Sing out loud or shake a leg with Lady Gaga.

World is a fun place to be,
Live happily, Live life to the fullest!!!

IT IS ALL ABOUT YEARS OF EXPERIENCE?

Around the globe, in every field, there is a high demand for experienced workers. People who hold at least a year or two’s experience are preferred. And why won’t they be preferred? Everybody wants the best for their institution. In today’s time, every company is at each other’s neck, trying to pin their rival companies down. So a good job experience definitely counts. Especially having witnessed the recession that had embraced the entire world’s economy, nobody wants to risk their jobs. Everyone is holding on to their dear jobs, working hard to sustain themselves in the various companies that they work with. The population increases by the second but the job opportunities stay limited. Hence, there is a scarcity of good jobs, and an abundance of fresh degree holders.
But do you think it is fair to allot jobs only on the basis of their various job experiences? Would it not help to have fresh minds enter an institution and show what they are capable of? Most of the job vacancies demand a good academic level, with job experiences. A student pursues Bachelors in the preferred field and goes out to find a job, just to be told that he needs a Masters degree. After securing a Masters, they are asked to get an M.Phil degree or even better a Ph.D. The numbers of degrees keep adding on to the resume. But at the end of the day, it all comes to a full circle to the one favourite question of all the companies; “Do you have any experience in this particular field?” When the most basic necessity for any job is based on the individual’s job experience, where will the humble beginners go? All those degrees in your folders suddenly seem useless. After all those years of studying hard, the degrees prove futile. Isn’t an individual who has all the degrees and no experience eligible for a good job? Why is it that only those individuals who have topped or have some experience are given the green signal by various companies. What about the other students who are genuinely good as well? Is securing 99% the only way to secure a good job? Is it a justified reason for overlooking an individual, only because of their average marks? They could probably have much more potential in them.
This is a problem that has encapsulated the entire world. Every individual has set goals and in trying to realize them, it is necessary that various institutions should at least give them a chance to prove themselves worthy. The individuals are always measured on the scale of their marks or their job experiences. But that cannot alter the truth, which is, that there are millions of degree holders, who as just as good as anybody else. But due to the lack of appropriate job opportunities, they end up doing odd jobs trying to meet their ends. This not only leads to disappointment and feeling of disillusionment in a student, but also adds a tremendous amount of pressure on them. Many take it in their stride but some succumb to its pressure. The rise in suicide cases amongst job seekers is rising by the day. In today’s world, no body wants the second best; everyone wants to scoop the cream.
If only the best get selected by various companies, our nation or for that matter the world is going to be a big land of unemployed, frustrated youths. When there is a scarcity of opportunities, the system needs to create opportunities for the students. It’s a chance that these beginners are looking for. There is so much talent out there; they just need an opportunity to prove themselves. While there are companies which hire individuals without any job experiences, there is a huge demand for more of such institutions to come forward. After all, it is the youth of today that will be the future of tomorrow’s world.
