A child learns to walk,
by falling several times.
She learns to hold,
by
dropping an object, time and again.
She learns to notice things,
by
missing few significant ones.
She learns to speak,
after mispronouncing many words.
She learns to write,
after writing over and over again.
She learns to sing,
after the rhymes and rhythms touche her soul.
She learns to dance,
after
the music takes control.
She learns to respect,
after
being respected.
She learns to sacrifice,
after learning to
love.
She learns to trust,
after knowing the meaning of friendship.
She learns to be wary,
after being hurt.
She learns to pray,
after developing faith in her heart.
She learns to give tests,
with a belief that she will pass.
She learns to be patient,
after being repeatedly tested.
She longs for respite,
after being sucked in this
whirlpool.
Bending a twig in hand,
she tries to
set an example.
Everything in this world has its limitations,
when it’s
bent beyond it capacity, it will snap.
When tested repeatedly,
even the
mildest of the lot will rebel.
If doing the right gives us pain,
She will be drawn towards the inevitable temptations of the
Satan.
She cries out loud for her Lord and guide,
what is she to do but lament when her pleas are not heard.
Who is she to ask for guidance?
When the guide turns his back unto her.
What faith must she hold on to,
When there is nothing but a buzz
in her head.
Is it not unfair to leave her wandering?
Lost, alone, fighting against the surge of emotions.
Bewildered she stands at the shore,
Figuring out the reason of her existence.
Wondering if our life, as we live it,
will
only bring in sorrows with illusions of happiness.
Or is she to unravel the mysteries of life,
and awaken as a wiser and stronger individual.
With her head held high,
she hopes to unfold the truth of her
existence.
She finally learns to stand up for herself,
after the world was
set to pull her down.
